This Afternoon

My eyes are sunrises,
brimming with what will be.
There’s a counter for every pair of these.

The pit of the stomach implores.
Causing double-takes
and peripheral glances,
idiotic conversations
and saved-up smiles.

The right reflection resides
in the eyes which mirror the process.

    One word – excellent!!! One’s eyes are the real mirrors indeed… you cannot really hide what’s reflected in your eyes… loved your poem.
